     Jimbo saw the dust before he saw his brother’s car as it came down the long drive to the plant. He was a bit excited about any news from Joe. He was a bit disappointed when Walter just said, “Nope, didn’t talk to him at all. He had customers, go get the dough yourself next month, talk all you want!”
“No, no”, Jimbo said, “keep it like it is.” Jimbo reached into the paper bag and counted out some money and gave it to his brother. “Really Walter, thanks for doing this for me.” “Your business” Walter said as he left. Jimbo stood there with the bag in his hand, best to let him wonder about Walter rather than me he thought, Joe was my best friend.
Back in the van, Kurt was making tape but his attention was more on the scope he had pointed at the hotel across the street. That and Diane’s station pointed directly at the parking garage. He alternated between the two as he grumbled about her being late again. Is she even coming at all today? He wondered.
